I’m a believer

Author: DJ
29.07.2007

There is a believer inside of us. Being optimistic about life is better than being bitter and resentful about things that are out of our control. I like to think that I am a believer to certain degrees. This song is a good reminder for me to be more positive toward life.

Here is a clip from “Be Cool” movie with a short part of the song by Christina Milian.

Christina Milian - Believer

Life is what you make it
At least that’s what they say
Well I think I’m gonna make it
Fulfill my dreams one day
I feel this fire growin’ deep inside of me
I’m so inspired knowin’ that it’s my destiny

I breathe like a champion
I dream I’m a champion
I see I’m a champion
It’s meant to be
My wills gettin’ stronger
I can’t wait any longer
I’m singin’ a song that’s inside of me

‘Cause I’m a believer
I know that I can make it
No matter what they say
So I’m a believer
The future is now
It starts today

(I keep my head up)

Everyday I’m waitin’
Tryin’ to find the patience
So close I can taste it
But sometimes it’s so hard
But I’ma keep on pushin’
And I’ma keep on fightin’
And I’ma keep on tryin’ because I’ve come too far

I breathe like a champion
I dream I’m a champion
I see I’m a champion
It’s meant to be
My wills gettin’ stronger
I can’t wait any longer
I’m singin’ a song that’s inside of me

‘Cause I’m a believer
I know that I can make it
No matter what they say
So I’m a believer
The future is now
It starts today

The future is now
It starts today

I recall meeting the couple in that dinner room. Just sorry that didn’t get to keep in touch and become friends.

    Hi, how are you friends?

  2. DJ Says:

    Sabaidee Ai Amphone,

See, you remember them. :) I am sure if you go to Laos you’ll meet them again. There is always the Third International Conference on Lao Studies to attend too.

  3. amphone Says:

Yeah, 2010, UKK, Thailand. Gruesome. I will be there. Why not? Been to all of them already. When I get a chance I will tell you about my Lao Studies II.

  4. Nye Says:

This is such a beautiful song Darly, very moving, and I think I’m also a believer, life is a bit strange at times, but that’s life. :)

  5. DJ Says:

    Hi Amphone,

If you can be there, then it’s great. By then I could be busy with children, hehehe. But I am sure you’ll take lots of pictures and tell us all about your experience there.

I look forward to reading your post on Lao Studies II.

  6. DJ Says:

    Hi Nye,

It’s a better way to live and think. Life is full of sweet and sour experiences. But we are here so let’s taste them all.
