I love this story, I read the novel several times, Tumayuntee is my favorite Thai author, and I saw the original Lakorn Taveepope played by Sarunyou and Seerium over 15 years ago.  Great story of Thai history.

I haven’t seen this movie nor read the novel. I only read the review of the movie. Some people might think that I watch Thai soap and Thai movie all day because of my posting but in reality that is not true. :)

I need to get away to an island somewhere so I can just chill and read something fun. But then again, knowing me I might want to have internet access so I can check on you guys. :P

I watched this again and it is interesting that one of the characters said, ‘history is based on the truth and lied written in the same sentence, it depends on who is writing it’ and we see this in the history of the SE Asia countries where each country sort of wrote their own version of their history. I think I like the book better, in the book and the original lakorn; Manee travels to another dimension (past) through the mirror, and at the end it shattered and she was stuck in the past, but that is where she wanted to be.
