Rauwe Ham and Meloenbolletjes Salad
Author: DJI was extremely busy toward the end of April and didn’t have much time to cook a nice meal. After school I often picked up a salad package at Albert Heijn grocery store. One of the salad packages that caught my eyes was the raw ham and melon balls salad with balsamic dressing. I later decided to test out some Spanish raw ham that was available at Albert Heijn. I am not a fan of ham but found the Serrano and Jamón serrano to be quite delicious.

A school for Laos?
Author: DJOnce or twice a week I had to attend a course at a small building next to the Faculty of Social and Behaviour Science. This particular building was added an an extension because of the oversized classes. It is also used for adult learning program. From the outside it reminds me of a school building in Laos but more modern. Whenever I go inside this building I think of the school building project in Laos and how I want to build a school using this model.

Dutch train delay
Author: DJOn April 17, 2008 I was on a train from Leiden Centraal to Rotterdam Centraal. The train came to a complete stop a few minutes before we were about to enter Rijswijk. Later we heard a message on the intercom about not being able to go through the Rijswijk tunnel. Apparently a train ahead of us was caught on fire. Our train headed back to Den Haag HS. Everything came to a complete stop. There was no train heading back to Leiden Centraal. People were pouring into the trams and going all directions since it was almost 17:00 hour.
