I’ve been running through this town,
I’ve been combing every street.
I’ve been searching for the reason within reasons,
Been searching for the higher ground in me.
And I’ve been trying to surrender,
To trust in every word.
All my days of misery,
Someone could have taken them from me.

I’ve been searching for myself,
For oh so many times.
I’ve been searching for the answer within answers,
But no one seems to know what’s on my mind.
Craving for her love,
Aching for her touch,
All my days of misery, someone could have taken them from me.

So tell me where you are,
Tell me how you feel.
Tell me what you need,
Just tell me how you feel.
And let it all just rain on me,
Let it all just rain on me,
Let it all just rain on me….
Rain down on me.

If only for a day,
Oh if only for one night,
I could tell you this is everything that i have ever lived for,
But I’d be giving it all away.
So look into these eyes,
And tell me how you feel.
All my days of misery, someone could have taken them from me.

So tell me where you are,
Tell me how you feel.
Tell me what you need,
Just tell me how you feel.
And let it all just rain on me,
Let it all just rain on me,
Let it all just rain on me…
Rain down on me.

Don’t you just love public transportation? I’m going to upload Tiesto’s suburban train to my iPod so I don’t feel so suffocated when I’m sitting in the train the next time.

This is for you Vienne. I’m testing how to add video from youtube.com in a post. So far so good.

Have a great Friday everyone and enjoy your weekend.

I don’t know much about Asian Pop and started to pay attention to Asian music about a couple of years ago. I have friends that are into BoA and Baby VOX.

Here is a clip of BoA - Be the one.

Here is a clip of Baby VOX - Xcstasy.

So far, I don’t know what to make of these two artists yet. You tell me.

I’m so happy that my external hard drive is finally in stock. I placed an order for the 400 GB one a couple of weeks before X-Mas.

Linkin Park “One Step Closer”

Linkin Park “Don’t Stay”

Linkin Park “In the End”

Come to think of it, I didn’t have much of a normal childhood. When I did get a chance to watch TV, it was in combination with chores, like folding or ironing clothes at the same time. I got a chance to watch cool cartoons and the Sci-Fi channel when I started college and after I came here. Maybe I am trying to make up for lost time? Then again, I don’t think you can be too old to watch animation or spend money on comic books. :)

Finally, I had the opportunity to see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Narnia.com, IMDb) and was not disappointed in the way the story was presented. I do have to confess that it is a movie made for children and for those that have not read the book, grab one and dive into it before you see the movie for more viewing pleasure.

I already made up my mind not to get a DVD copy of this movie. Yes it was a good movie but it didn’t trigger a “must have dvd” signal to my brain, unlike the Matrix and The Lord of The Rings sets. I tend to collect only the movies that I will watch over and over again without getting sick and tired of them. To my surprise the other day, I noticed the only girly dvd’s I have are Ever After and Notting Hill.

It is now 2:30 AM and I am sitting here sipping green tea and listening to Epica, updating a couple of things on Laoplanet.net and posting on my blog. Yeah I should be in bed but hey it’s Friday night and the fun has just begun. :)

I don’t know why it is actually soothing to hear Epica or Dream Theater late at night. I like staying up late at night or get up extra early in the morning because it is quiet. When I was in high school I like to go sit on the back porch gazing at the stars late at night when everyone else are sleeping. Come to think of it I did a great deal of stars gazing too when we were in Laos and in the Thai refugee camps. I saw a shooting star at Napho camp and guess what kind of wish I made? I wished my family would be accepted into the United States. Making a wish on a shooting star must be a practice that goes beyond cultural borders?

It’s a pity though that I can’t see much stars from where I am. I should go visit Sweden to see how beautiful the night sky is over there. My Swedish buddy invited me a couple of times to visit during the Hultsfred Festival so maybe this summer I will treat myself to some great sounds. But what I really like to witness is the indescribable Northern Lights.
